The South Australian Space Industry Centre hosted the 9th Australian Space Forum at the Adelaide Convention Centre

Supported by the Australian Space Agency and SmartSat CRC, this biannual event provided the perfect opportunity to stimulate ideas, share information about emerging technologies and discuss industry trends.

The Forum was opened by the Premier Steven Marshall and facilitated by Adjunct Professor Nicola Sasanelli.

Dr Chrystal Johnson, Goddard’s Deputy Director for Technology and Research Investments, NASA, facilitated a panel “Leap-frogging R&D to help build Australia’s Space Industry”

Panelists included Professor Andy Koronios CEO SmartSat CRC, Craig Smith CEO EOS Space Systems, Dr Sarah Pierce Deputy Director CSIRO Astronomy and Space Science, Bruno Versini COO E-Geos Telespazio, and Dr Peter Woodgate Chair SmartSat CRC Board.

1000 domestic and international participants enjoyed a full program including National and International Space Trends, Education and Australian Space Access as well as an expo of national and international space industries and education providers.
