The HAPS Challenge is a unique opportunity to contribute to our national capability. The Challenge is a partnership with RMIT’s Sir Lawrence Wackett Defence & Aerospace Centre, Australian Department of Defence, SmartSat CRC and the Trusted Autonomous Systems Defence CRC. It seeks interest from Australian industry and research organisations to develop novel ideas and solutions for new Australian technology.

The HAPS Challenge aims to energise local Australian development of key technologies and to ensure Australian sovereign HAPS that have accurate station-keeping capability or long endurance capacity needed to allow deployment over an area of operations for a period of days to weeks.
