The Queensland Earth Observation Hub incorporates the SmartSat Queensland Node and is a jointly funded initiative of SmartSat and the Queensland Government.
The establishment of the SmartSat Queensland Earth Observation Hub (the EO Hub) is supported by Queensland Government through the Department of State Development, Infrastructure, Local Government and Planning.
The EO Hub is accelerating the growth of Queensland’s, and Australia’s, Earth observation industry by supporting commercialisation of research, and EO product and service development. The EO Hub is generating opportunities for data analytics businesses and researchers, as well as downstream industries and upstream service providers of Earth observation imagery.
