Queensland Earth Observation Hub Partnering Program

Applications for this funding round are now open!

The Queensland Earth Observation Hub (EO Hub) is committed to unlocking Queensland’s potential for Earth Observation. Our funding programs focus on creating Queensland-based opportunities through industry led research partnerships.

We are issuing an open call for projects that will foster the commercialisation of EO technologies through research to industry partnerships. This open call is particularly seeking industry-led projects focussed on transitioning from an early-stage proof-of-concept to a commercial or in-operation service or product. This call can also apply to industry-led projects relevant to calibration and/or validation of satellite-based Earth observation data, projects, applications, and/or services, where that activity will support the transition to a commercial or in-operation service or product.

Participants of completed projects from previous EO Hub funding rounds can submit proposals that advance outcomes toward commercialisation or operationalisation.

  • Total cash budget up to $150,000
  • Maximum project duration: 6 Months
  • Cash co-funding ratio 2:1 (hub : industry)

All applicants must meet with the EO Hub Coordinator to discuss the application prior to submission.

Submissions close 5pm Friday, 21 March 2025.
