Following the ASA’s Demonstrator Feasibility Grant, these back-to-back webinars outline systems engineering and spacecraft operations in support of ASA’s Demonstrator program.

Systems engineering is a fundamental backbone for the management of space systems and programs. This half day SmartSat CRC seminar expands on the webinar series with a recap of Systems Engineering, and an overview of NASA and ESA methodologies, then continues with an introduction to Model Based Systems Engineering and Digital Engineering for space applications. This is followed by an introduction to essential operational requirements including Spacecraft Operations, Telemetry and Commanding, and Data Protocols.

Thursday 14 September

8.30am – 10.30am ACST: Seminar #5 – Systems Engineering overview
