The aim on this research is to extend existing knowledge on GSG to address the sui generis needs of AI applications in outer space, to promote the development of effective, efficient and safe AI applications in the Australian space industry sector, and to deliver a validated framework which can be used for certification purposes. More specifically, to develop and test an AI governance framework suitable for the Australian space industry.
