Anne Bettens

Autonomous navigation of satellites for space exploration

Anne Bettens holds her Professional Master’s Degree in Aerospace Engineering from the University of Sydney. In 2024, she completed her PhD on vision-based autonomous navigation of robotic craft for space exploration. Anne earned her undergraduate degree in Mechanical Engineering at the University of Western Australia and has worked as a consultant for many research projects. Anne is now working as the CEO and co-founder of Deneb Space, a Sydney-based start-up company specialising in autonomous satellite technologies that enhance the manoeuvrability, reactivity and collision avoidance capability.
