Her Master’s research focused on Explainable Artificial Intelligence (XAI). Hira is currently a PhD candidate in the Computer Science and Engineering department at the University of New South Wales Sydney, where her research is focused on developing a deep learning interpretable model for natural hazard detection such as bushfires using self-supervised learning with multi-modal satellite data.
