Machine Learning Approach for The Enhancement of Transmission Capacity and Latency for Integrated Terrestrial-Satellite Communications

William Damario Lukito is a PhD candidate at La Trobe University with a strong background and passion in engineering, and currently working on artificial intelligent techniques for satellite communications, especially for Internet-of-Things applications. His research aims to enhance the performance, as well as increase the spectral efficiency of satellite communications in the direction of emerging future sixth-generation (6G) networks and technologies.

Lukito completed his Bachelor and Master degrees in Telecommunications Engineering from Bandung Institute of Technology (ITB), Indonesia, in 2021 and 2022, respectively. During his time at ITB, he experienced projects in radar technologies, signal processing, machine learning, embedded system, autonomous vehicle development, as well as biomedical image processing. By taking part, Lukito is looking forward to a better world, where the humanity can equally gain the benefits of technological advancements.
