Dr Danielle Wuchenich is Chief Operating Officer and co-founder of Liquid Instruments, a Canberra and San Diego-based technology company disrupting the test and measurement industry. Liquid Instruments makes software-enabled instrumentation that helps engineers, scientists, students & makers develop new ideas, test and validate designs, and change the world. Dr Wuchenich completed her PhD in Physics at the Australian National University in laser interferometric techniques for inter-satellite metrology. During her doctorate she spent time working on the space interferometry missions Laser Interferometer Space Antenna (LISA) and Gravity Recovery and Climate Experiment (GRACE) Follow-On at NASA’s Jet Propulsion Laboratory in Pasadena, California and at the Albert Einstein Institute in Hanover, Germany. She subsequently joined Lockheed Martin’s Advanced Technology Center in Palo Alto, California as a Senior Research Scientist developing novel interferometric imaging systems and laser communications architectures. Now at Liquid Instruments, she is responsible for operations, scaling, and strategy.
