Kris Trott was the former Chief Executive Officer of the Queensland Alliance for Mental Health and a member of several committees, advisory panels and Boards, including Chair of the Queensland Transition to National Disability Insurance Scheme for Mental Health and member of Queensland Transition Advisory Group (Ministerial advisory group). Her specialty is working with research and educational institutions and has held senior positions with several Cooperative Research Centres and was General Manger of Queensland University Technology Enterprise Holding. She is the past Chair, Queensland State Council of the Governance Institute of Australia and ran a governance advisory company, Business Governance Solutions. She holds a degree in Commerce majoring in finance and accounting, a Graduate Diploma in Applied Corporate Governance, a Graduate Diploma in Company Directorship and is a Certified Practicing Accountant.
