Madison joined SmartSat in February 2022 after a brief stint in the not-for-profit sector. She has over four years experience working in the Defence and space industry at Defence SA and the South Australian Space Industry Centre. During this time, Madison contributed significantly to the South Australian Space Mission and to the campaign for the Australian Space Agency to be headquartered in Adelaide, South Australia. Prior to working in the public sector, Madison worked as a journalist for a range of local publications, including The Loxton News and The Weekender Herald. Madison has also worked as a volunteer journalist with Radio Adelaide, Fresh FM and Hills Radio. Madison is passionate about the Australian space industry and holds a Bachelor of Media and a Bachelor of Arts from the University of Adelaide.
