Dr Nermine Hendy

Interference modelling, detection, and mitigation for improving spaceborne SAR performance

RMIT University

Dr Nermine Hendy completed her PhD research in Electrical and Electronic Engineering at the RMIT University in 2024. Prior to this, she completed her Masters in Electrical and Electronic Engineering from Alexandria University in Egypt, specialising in emotion recognition using neural networks. Dr Hendy’s PhD work was on a project to develop a spaceborne RADAR system in the hopes of developing an open-source simulator that will help improve synthetic aperture radar (SAR). She has also taught a number of undergraduate courses in various adjacent research areas, such as network fundamentals and embedded systems.
