Robert Andriambololonaharisoamalala attended the University of Madagascar from 2000 to 2005, where he completed a Master of Science in Geophysics. He then worked as a Geographic Information System (GIS) and Database Engineer in various mining companies. In 2019, Andriambololonaharisoamalala won the prestigious Australia Award Scholarship, offered by the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade, to do a Master of Geospatial Intelligence at Curtin University. He is currently undertaking a PhD in Spatial Sciences, focusing on urban heat islands, at the same University.
